The 2009 Campbell's Hall of Fame Championships was a tennis tournament that took place in Newport from July 4 to 12, 2009 . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2009 and was the last tournament of the current season to be played outdoors on grass. The tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category and there were no other tournaments that same week.

The defending champion in the singles was Fabrice Santoro , who won the tournament twice in a row. He took part in the tournament again this year, but was eliminated in the semi-finals. In this year's final, local hero Rajeev Ram prevailed in three sets with 6: 7 3 , 7: 5, 6: 3 against his fellow countryman Sam Querrey, who was seeded three times . Ram took part in the tournament as a lucky loser after Mardy Fish had to cancel because of a Davis Cup match against Croatia. For Ram it was the first title on the ATP World Tour. In doubles, Mardy Fish and John Isner were the defending champions, but they both no longer took part in the tournament. In the final, Jordan Kerr and the individual winner Rajeev Ram won against the duo Michael Kohlmann and Rogier Wassen in three sets with 6: 7 6 , 7: 6 7 , [10: 6].

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 442,500; total financial liabilities were $ 500,000.
