life and career
Although Hidalgo has never won an ATP World tournament , he has been able to celebrate constant success on clay. His best result was reaching the round of 16 at the French Open 2006. In the decisive set, Hidalgo was already 5: 1, 30:15 in the lead, but failed to make the serve and lost 6: 7. With good results on the Challenger Tour , he established himself in the top 100 of the world rankings. In 2011 he defeated Marin Čilić , who was seeded 19 at the French Open, in the first round.
