Leonardo Azzaro (born May 30, 1978 in Florence ) is a former Italian tennis player .
Career
Leonardo Azzaro won a total of eight singles and 30 doubles titles in his professional career. Of these, however, only a single title on the ATP Challenger Tour . In doubles he celebrated 17 tournament victories on the Challenger Tour. He won the remaining titles on the ITF Future Tour . In the tennis league of gentlemen Azzaro plays since 2005 for the TV Reutlingen . Here he was promoted to the first tennis league in the first season. In 2006 and 2007 , the TV Reutlingen team was able to hold onto the Bundesliga. In the following season , Leonardo Azzaro and his team relegated to the second Bundesliga . Here he stayed from 2009 to 2013 and then rose again to the 1st Bundesliga. In 2014 he could not prevent another relegation at position eleven. In his three Grand Slam participations, he never got past the first round in doubles.
