Lamine Ouahab ( Arabic الأمين وهاب, DMG al-Amīn Wahhāb ; * December 22, 1984 in Algiers ) is an Algerian tennis player who has competed for Morocco since 2014 .

life and career

Ouahab has celebrated five tournament successes on the Challenger Tour so far . He won two titles in singles and three more in doubles. However , he has not yet made a breakthrough on the ATP tour . He made his Grand Slam debut in Australia in 2009 , where he played his only game in a main draw up to that point. He was eliminated in the first round.

For the men's singles at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens , Ouahab received an invitation from the ITF . In the first round he was defeated by the Spaniard Tommy Robredo 3: 6, 4: 6.

Ouahab played from 2002 to 2008 for the Algerian Davis Cup team , for which he won a total of 25 games in 16 appearances. He has been playing for the Moroccan Davis Cup team since 2014 .

In the German tennis league he rose in 2008 with the TV Espelkamp-Mittwald in the first division. In 2009 he repeated this with 1. FC Nürnberg , where he also played in the first division in 2010 . Since 2014 he has been playing in the 2nd division at SC Uttenreuth .
