The Algerian Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Algeria that represents the country in the Davis Cup . It is organized by the Fédération Algerienne de Tennis .

history

Algeria has participated in the Davis Cup since 1977 . So far, the team has never played in the world group. The best result was reaching the second round in Group 2 of the Europe / Africa zone in 2004 , 2006 and 2008 . Since 2009 Algeria has been back in group 3 of the African zone.
