The Uzbek Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Uzbekistan . The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, analogous to the Fed Cup for women.
history
Uzbekistan has been taking part in the Davis Cup since 1994 , with some players having previously played for the then Soviet Union team. The team has already reached the play-offs for promotion to the world group five times, but always missed the leap into the upper house. The most successful player is Oleg Ogorodov , who won 53 games in 29 participations. He is also a record player.
