The Dominican Republic has been participating in the Davis Cup since 1989 , but has never qualified for the world group. The team celebrated their greatest success so far when they reached the world group relegation in the 2015 season , when they met Germany . The most successful player and record player is Víctor Estrella with 65 wins and 48 appearances within 21 years.
