The Danish Davis Cup team is Denmark's national tennis team . The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, analogous to the Fed Cup for women.

history

Denmark has been participating in the Davis Cup since 1921 and has played in the world group nine times. In 1988 the Danish team reached the quarter-finals for the first time, which is their best result to date. Against the team of the Federal Republic of Germany, Denmark then lost clearly 0: 5. The most successful player is Kurt Nielsen with a total of 53 victories, Torben Ulrich is the record player with 40 participations within 20 years.
