The Brunei Davis Cup team is the Brunei national tennis team , which represents the state in the Davis Cup .
history
Brunei first took part in the Davis Cup in 1994 . The team lost their first six games and only won 2-1 for the first time in their third game in 1995 against Oman . In 1996 they were relegated from Asia / Ozenian Zone Group III to Group IV, from which the team could not move up until their last appearance in 2008 . Viewed across all participations, the team was only able to achieve a positive balance against Turkmenistan with a win in the only match, against all other teams the statistics are negative.
The most successful player so far was Ismasufian Ibrahim with 13 wins and 37 losses. He is also a record player with participation in 36 matches over 8 years.
