The Sri Lankan Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Sri Lanka .
history
In 1953 Sri Lanka took part in the Davis Cup for the first time , until 1972 as Ceylon . The team never got beyond the second round of group zone II in the continental group Asia / Oceania. The most successful player is Harshana Godamanna , who won a total of 51 games in 38 matches. The record player with 44 appearances is Rajeev Rajapakse .
