The Cuban Davis Cup team is the men's national tennis team of Cuba .
history
Cuba first took part in the Davis Cup in 1924 . In 1993 , Cuba qualified for the world group for the first and only time after the opposing Yugoslav Davis Cup team was excluded from the 1992 relegation games . Both in the first round of the world group and in the relegation relegation, however, the team clearly lost 5-0 to Sweden and Russia . The most successful player is Juan Pino with 34 wins and 29 participations, making him the record player at the same time.
Most recently, Cuba took part in the Davis Cup in 2009 , 2013 and 2014 .
