The Mexican Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Mexico that represents the country in the Davis Cup . It is organized by the Federación Mexicana de Tenis .
history
Mexico has participated in the Davis Cup since 1924 . The greatest success was the finals in 1962 , which were lost 5-0 to the Australian team . In 1986 and 1987 the quarter-finals could be reached. Mexico has not played in the world group since 1997 .
The most successful player to date is Rafael Osuna . He played a total of 65 games between 1958 and 1969 , of which he won 42.
