The Turkmen Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Turkmenistan that represents the country in the Davis Cup .
history
Turkmenistan took part in the Davis Cup for the first time in 2004 , and lost their first 14 games. The team was able to achieve their first victory in 2007 against Bahrain . The team has so far only played in continental group IV of the Oceania / Asia zone and was able to reach the playoff for continental group III for the first time in 2012 , where, however, Cambodia lost 3-0.
The most successful player is Aleksandr Ernepesov with 21 wins and 18 losses.
