The Georgian Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Georgia .
history
In 1994 Georgia took part in the Davis Cup for the first time , previously the players were part of the Soviet team . The team achieved their best result in 2007 and 2008 when they reached Europe / Africa group zone I. The best player is Irakli Uschangishvili with 29 wins in a total of 28 participations. He is also the record player in his country.
