The Malagasy Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Madagascar .
history
Madagascar has been taking part in the Davis Cup since 1997 . In 2010 the team qualified for the Europe / Africa group zone II for the first time and stayed there until the 2012 season . This was followed by descent into Africa Zone III. The most successful player is Thierry Rajaobelina , who won a total of 27 games in 33 games, 17 in singles and 10 in doubles. He is also the record player in his country.
