The Djiboutian Davis Cup team is the Djibouti national tennis team , which represents the state in the Davis Cup .
history
Djibouti named for the Davis Cup for the first time in 1987 , but withdrew before the first encounter. The country first appeared in the competition in 1993 . The team has always played in the lowest group in the Europe / Africa zone. This was initially Group III, later Group IV. Djibouti's last participation in the Davis Cup dates back to 2005 , although no team had been sent to the competition in 1995 , 1999 and 2004 either.
Of the 44 encounters so far, Djibouti has not won a single one. In fact, all 131 matches (3 per encounter, except in 1998 , when the score was canceled at 0: 2) were lost. The record player with 24 matches in 17 encounters over five years is Kadar Mogueh .
