The Congolese Davis Cup team is the Congo national tennis team that represents the country in the Davis Cup .
history
The Republic of Congo took in 1991 for the first time at the Davis Cup in part. After 19 defeats in a row, the team won against Ethiopia for the first time in 1995 and for the only time so far (2: 1). Eleven more defeats followed by the end of 1997 . During the next 13 years, the country did not enter the competition. A Congolese team did not appear again until 2010 , but they lost all four matches. The country has not called for the Davis Cup since then. In total, the team has won 8 matches and lost in 97 games.
The most successful player so far is Alain Bemba with 5 wins and 35 losses. He is also a record player, having appeared in 29 games over seven years.
