The Angolan Davis Cup team is the men's national tennis team of Angola . It is looked after by the Angolan tennis association, the Federação Angolana de Ténis (FAT).

history

Between 2001 and 2003 Angola took part in the Davis Cup . Her best result was seventh place in Europe / Africa group zone III in the 2003 season. The most successful player is Nelson de Almeida with a total of 17 wins, with 14 appearances he is also the record player.

After 2003, the Angolan Association was banned from international tournaments due to unpaid fees and association taxes. FAT President Matias Castro da Silva, newly elected for the 2012 to 2016 term of office, has since been striving to settle all disagreements with the world association ITF in order to enable Angolan tennis players to participate again.
