The Egyptian Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Egypt .
history
In 1929 Egypt took part in the Davis Cup for the first time . The team reached the semi-finals of Europe / Africa group zone I twice: in 1982 and 1985 . The most successful player is Karim Maamoun , who won a total of 30 games in 31 games, 19 in singles and 11 in doubles. He is also the record player in his country.
