The Finnish Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Finland that represents the country in the Davis Cup . It is organized by the Suomen Tennisliitto . The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, analogous to the Fed Cup for women.
history
Finland has participated in the Davis Cup since 1928 . In 1990 , 1999 and 2002 the country failed in the respective relegation rounds to participate in the world group. The most successful player is Jarkko Nieminen , who played a total of 68 matches (singles & doubles), of which he won 46. The Finnish record player is Tuomas Ketola who has played 31 games.
