The Chinese Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of the People's Republic of China that represents the country in the Davis Cup . The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, analogous to the Fed Cup for women. It is organized by the China Tennis Association .
history
China has participated in the Davis Cup since 1924 . So far, the team has never been able to participate in the world group, but was only one match away in 1987 and 1990 .
