In 1986, Bangladesh first took part in the Davis Cup . The team achieved their best result in 1989 when they made it to the semi-finals in Asia / Oceania group zone II. The best player is Sree-Amol Roy with 36 wins in a total of 40 participations. He is also the record player in his country.
