The Pakistani Davis Cup team is the men's national tennis team of Pakistan .

history

Pakistan has been participating in the Davis Cup since 1948 . The team achieved their best result in 2005 when they qualified for the play-offs for promotion to the world group. However, they lost to Chile 0-5. In the encounter against South Korea in 2003 , Kim Young-Jun and Aqeel Khan set the current record for the longest tie-break in the Davis Cup: Kim just got the upper hand at 19:17. The most successful player is Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi with 50 wins, Aqeel Khan is the record player with 36 appearances within 15 years.
