The Taiwanese Davis Cup team represents the Republic of China , which is now home to Taiwan , in international tennis team competitions as the Davis Cup team of Chinese Taipei . The Davis Cup is the most important competition for national teams in men's tennis, analogous to the Fed Cup for women.
history
Taiwan has participated in the Davis Cup since 1972 . In 2005 , 2006 and 2009 the second round of Asia / Oceania Group Zone I achieved the best result so far. The most successful player is Wang Yeu-tzuoo with 22 wins, the record player with 20 appearances in 13 years is Hsu Huang-jung .
