The Indonesian Davis Cup team is the national tennis team of Indonesia .
history
In 1961 Indonesia took part in the Davis Cup for the first time . In 1983 and 1989 the team played in the world group, but had to admit defeat to Sweden and the Federal Republic of Germany in the first round . The most successful player is Suwandi Suwandi , who won a total of 34 games in 33 games, 23 of them in singles and 11 in doubles. He is also the record player in his country.
