Davis Cup 1983

The 1983 Davis Cup was the 72nd edition of the ITF competition for men's national tennis teams . The host Australia beat Sweden 3-2 in the final in Melbourne between December 26 and 28 . Australia won its 25th Davis Cup title . For Sweden it was the second final since winning the title in 1975 .
