International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1905

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1905 was the 5th edition of the competition for men's national teams in tennis . The defending champions British Isles won the final at Wimbledon between July 21 and 24 with a clear 5-0 win against the USA . This is the third time that the British Isles have secured the title.

The teams

World group

With Australasia (an amalgamation of Australia and New Zealand ) and Austria , two teams competed for the first time in the International Lawn Tennis Challenge.

In the newly introduced world group, five teams played for a place in the final against the defending champions British Isles. The match between Belgium and the USA had to be canceled in favor of the USA, as one of the Belgian players could not play due to illness.
