International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1934

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1934 was the 29th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national tennis teams . The competition was in two continental zones of Europe - and the America Zone discharged, the Americas zone to North and Central America Group and South America group were divided. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the finals.

In the continental playoff, the USA prevailed against Australia , but were defeated by defending champions Great Britain in the final from July 28 to 31 . It was Great Britain's seventh title so far.

Attendees

Including the defending champion, 30 countries took part in the competition. The following teams played for a ticket to the final or the right to start next year.

European zone

A total of 24 teams competed in the European zone, 10 of which were eligible to start in the main competition. The remaining teams had to start in the qualification for 1935 .

Poland, the German Reich, the Netherlands and Yugoslavia qualified directly for the main competition in 1935 . Due to the low number of participants in 1935, surviving this year's qualification was not subsequently decisive for admission to the competition.
