International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1930

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1930 was the 25th edition of the competition for men's national tennis teams organized by the ITF . The competition was held in two continental zones, the European and American zones . The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the finals. The USA clearly prevailed against Italy 4: 1, but just as clearly failed in the final from July 25th to 27th with 1: 4 against defending champions France . France won the fourth title in a row.

Including the defending champion, 29 countries took part in the competition. The following teams played for a final ticket against the defending champion.

European zone

A total of 24 teams competed in the European zone.

America Zone

The America Zone consisted of four participants.

Playoff

In the playoff between the two winners of the continental zones, the USA triumphed over Italy. The USA only had to give up the already insignificant fifth match and made it into the final for the eleventh time in a row.
