International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1919

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1919 was the 14th edition of the competition for men's national tennis teams organized by the International Lawn Tennis Federation (ILTF) . After the tournament was canceled for four years during the First World War , it took place again this year, with four teams playing against the defending champions Australia , which in 1914 had won the title together with New Zealand as Australasia . The final in Sydney , held from January 16 to 21, 1920, was won by the defending champion against the challenger Great Britain and thus secured the sixth title so far.

In addition to the defending champion, four other teams took part in the International Lawn Tennis Challenge. These teams played in the world group for the final ticket against Australia.
