International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1932

Quarter-final game of the European zone between Ireland and the German Empire.

The International Lawn Tennis Challenge 1932 was the 27th edition of the competition organized by the ITF for men's national tennis teams . The competition was in two continental zones of Europe - and the America Zone discharged, the Americas zone to North America Group and South America group were divided. The winners of the two zones played a playoff for the finals. The USA prevailed 3-2 against the German Reich , but failed in the final from July 29th to 31st to defending champion France . France won the sixth title in a row.

In the intra-continental playoff, the USA could clearly prevail against Brazil . The USA only had to give up a single set (in doubles) and a total of only 31 games (out of 90 wins).

In the final between the USA and France, the French defending champions prevailed 3-2. It was the sixth French title in a row, but also the last for 59 years (until 1991 ).
