automotiveIT is a specialist magazine on "IT in the automotive industry" based in Pattensen / Hanover and Stuttgart . In addition to reporting on current IT trends in the automotive industry , the magazine also focuses on business and management. The eight published editions of automotiveIT annually reach a circulation of 10,000 copies each.
History and structure
automotiveIT is published by Media-Manufaktur GmbH based in Pattensen, Lower Saxony. Founded by publisher Dominik Ortlepp in 2009, Media-Manufaktur GmbH published the first automotiveIT issue in February 2009 , followed by the first publication of the sister magazine carIT in November 2010 . Since March 2013, Media-Manufaktur GmbH has also been publishing the cross-sector IT business magazine business impact . Hilmar Dunker is the editor-in-chief of the trade magazines. The modern industry publishing house , which publishes specialist media such as “Produktion” and “Automobil-Produktion”, took over Media-Manufaktur GmbH on February 16, 2016. Fabian Müller is the managing director of both companies.
Awards
In 2009 automotiveIT was the winner of the WiFö Niedersachsen, one year later it was nominated for the Bavarian Print Media Prize . After being nominated twice for the trade medium of the year 2010, automotiveIT was selected as the winner in the IT / Telecommunications / Electronics category by the Association of German Specialists in 2011 .
Books
In addition to the periodical edition of automotiveIT , the magazine also publishes the anthologies Business & IT , which compile the magazine's interviews in compact form, the service provider directory IT for Automotive and the book IT's Magic , which emphasizes various visionary aspects of IT. In November 2012 automotiveIT appeared - Das Lexikon. All IT terms from A to Z by the authors Thomas R. Köhler and Dirk Schürmann, a reference work that explains important terms relating to IT within the automotive industry. In April 2014, the authors Thomas R. Congresses
On March 13, 2014 automotiveIT hosted the sixth annual automotiveIT congress as part of CeBIT , which was the largest congress at the technology fair in Hanover with over 500 participants. On July 1st and 2nd, 2014 the first automotiveIT International Congress took place in London. On April 15, 2015, Media-Manufaktur GmbH also organized the automotiveIT Forum Production & Logistics with the focus on Industry 4.0 as part of the Hanover Fair .
Internet presence
In addition to the print publication of automotiveIT , the magazine has two current websites (automotiveit.eu and automotiveIT.com) that inform both the German and the international specialist audience about industry-relevant news. AutomotiveIT's German website reaches visitor numbers of around 25,000 per month and has already been visited over 1,000,000 times. In October 2012, the launch of a paid executive newsletter was announced via automotiveIT.com , which will appear ten times a year.
