Gerda Raidt

Gerda Raidt (born March 2, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German illustrator and author.

Life

Gerda Raidt first studied free graphics at the Burg Giebichenstein Art College in Halle and later in the illustration class of Volker Pfüller at the Leipzig College of Graphics and Book Art . This was followed by a master's degree with Pfüller. For her diploma thesis Matrosentango she received a commendation from the Stiftung Buchkunst in the competition The most beautiful German books . She has been working as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and author since 2004.

Raidt lives with her family in Leipzig.
