Bavarian Print Media Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bavarian Print Media Prize has been awarded by the Bavarian State Government since 2000 for outstanding publishing, design and technical achievements in the fields of newspapers, magazines and printing. It was created together with the Association of Bavarian Newspaper Publishers, the Association of Magazine Publishers in Bavaria and the Association of Printing and Media Bavaria in order to underline Bavaria's importance as the most important publishing and print media center in Germany. The Bavarian Print Media Prize is awarded nationwide. Submissions are also possible in three categories. As with the Bavarian Film Prize (Pierrot) and the Bavarian TV Prize (Blauer Panther), the prize symbol is a figure from the Nymphenburg porcelain factory , namely Nike , the goddess of victory . The selection is made by an independent jury.
