George Lott
George Martin Lott junior (born October 16, 1906 in Springfield , Illinois , † December 2, 1991 in Chicago , Illinois) was an American tennis player .
biography
Lott won in his active career five times the American (1928-1930, 1933, 1934) and once the French championships (1931) and two titles in Wimbledon (1931, 1934) in men's doubles. There are also three titles at the American championships (1929, 1931, 1934) and one title at Wimbledon (1931) in mixed.
He played 22 games for the US Davis Cup team and won 18 matches. In 1964 he was accepted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame .
