Hans Simonsson (born January 5, 1962 in Färgaryd , Hylte municipality ) is a former Swedish tennis player .

Career

In the course of his career, the doubles specialist Simonsson won twelve tournaments on the ATP Tour , including eleven with Anders Järryd and another with his brother Stefan Simonsson . 1983 was his most successful year, when he won the French Open with Anders Järryd and stood with the Swedish team in the Davis Cup final . With Shlomo Glickstein he reached the French Open final again in 1985 , but they were subject to Mark Edmondson and Kim Warwick . Hans Simonsson ended his professional career at the age of 25.
