Coordinates: 57 ° 0 ′ N , 13 ° 15 ′ O Hylte is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Halland County and the historic provinces of Halland and Småland . The main town of the municipality is Hyltebruk .
history
The first parish with the name Hylte was established in 1952 when the amalgamation of five parishes ( socks ) came about through the parish reform, creating the large parish of Hylte. At the same time, the large municipalities of Unnaryd in Jönköpings län and the rural municipality of Torup in Hallands län were formed. These three parishes were finally merged in 1974, parts of the parish of Ljungby were added and Hallands län was added.
