Hyltebruk is the capital of the Swedish municipality of Hylte . Hyltebruk is located in the province of Halland County and the historic province of Småland . The place had 3992 inhabitants in 2015 on an area of 466 hectares.
The main industries are forestry and paper production. The place developed as a factory settlement around the Hulte paper mill (Hylte bruk), today one of the largest newsprint manufacturers in the world.
The local volleyball club Hylte VBK has won several Swedish championships, most recently in 2010.
