Coordinates: 57 ° 29 '  N , 12 ° 5'  O Kungsbacka is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province Halland and the historical province Halland . The main town of the municipality is Kungsbacka .

The municipality's coat of arms is derived from a seal from the 1580s. Since the church of the main town was consecrated to St. Gertrude , it is assumed that it is depicted, even if the attributes are incorrect. However, one did not change the coat of arms.
