Anna-Karin Hatt (born December 7, 1972 in the municipality of Hylte , Småland as Sara Anna-Karin Andersson ) is a Swedish politician ( Centerpartiet ). From October 5, 2010 to 2014, she was Minister in the Fredrik Reinfeldt government .

Career

education

Anna-Karin Hatt attended Erik-Dahlbergs-Gymnasium in Jönköping from 1988 to 1991 . Between 1992 and 1995 she studied Political Science and International Relations at the University of Gothenburg and obtained a Bachelor's degree . Between 1990 and 1992 she also did an apprenticeship as a hairdresser .

Professional career

From 1994 to 1996 Hatt was a member of the board of a travel company. In 1995 she was an editorial writer for Hallands Nyheter newspaper . In 1997 she was again an editorial writer, this time with Södermanlands Nyheter . From 2000 to 2001 she was a PR consultant and vice-CEO of a PR agency. Between 2002 and 2003, she was the CEO of a healthcare training company.

Political career

From 1991 to 1993 Anna-Karin Hatt was a member of the committee for the environment and health of the municipality of Hylte. Between 1991 and 1994 she was also a member of the Halland District Council of the Young Center Party . From 1994 to 1998 she was a member of the Federal Committee of the Centerpartiet and from 1995 to 1998 President of the Association of Nordic Center Parties. Between 1996 and 1998 she was also the chair of the working committee in the Nordic Youth Council . From 1997 to 1998 Anna-Karin Hatt was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Section of the Center Party. Between 1998 and 2000 she worked for the Center Party as a speechwriter for the party leadership and was a substitute member of the Reichstag from 1998 to 2002 . From 2003 to 2006 she was chief of staff in the Centerpartiet and from 2006 to 2010 State Secretary for the coordination office between Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and the Center Party. In 2010 she was appointed Minister for IT and Regional Affairs in the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Her post was converted in 2011 and Hatt was now Minister of IT and Energy.

Private life

Anna-Karin Andersson was born in the village of Mosshult, Hylte parish in 1972 and spent all of her childhood there. She was married to the politician Ola Alterå from 1996 and 2002 and has two children with him. In 2009 she married the politician Greger Hatt , with whom she has a child. The couple filed for divorce in 2011 and are now divorced.
