Annie Lööf

Annie Marie Therése Lööf (* 16th July 1983 in Maramö, Värnamo , Småland as Annie Marie Therése Johansson ) is a Swedish politician . Since September 2011 she has been chairwoman of the Centerpartiet and from 2011 to 2014 she was Sweden's Minister of Economic Affairs .

biography

Annie Lööf grew up in Maramö in the municipality of Värnamo in Småland / Sweden. As a student, she became a member of the Centerpartiet in 2001. In 2006, she was in the Swedish parliament voted and was in her first term, the youngest member of Parliament.

In August 2011, she successfully completed her law studies at Lund University . On September 23, 2011, she was elected chairman of the Centerpartiet. On September 29, 2011, she was appointed Sweden's Minister of Economic Affairs. She held this office until the new government was formed on October 3, 2014 after the election to the Swedish Parliament in 2014 .

She is married and has one daughter.
