Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth (born November 24, 1955 in Spånga ) is a Swedish politician of the Moderata samlingspartiet .

She became involved in the party at the age of 15 and was elected to the Stockholm city ​​parliament in 1998 . She has been a member of the Swedish parliament since 2002 and has sat a. a. in the Culture Committee 2002–2006 and was a replacement in the Economic Committee 2002–2003 and the Social Committee 2003–2006. On October 24, 2006, she became Minister for Culture in the government of Fredrik Reinfeldt and succeeded Cecilia Stegö Chilò in office.

Noble son Liljeroth is one of the 89 people from the European Union against whom Russia imposed an entry ban in May 2015 .
