Matthias Böttcher

Matthias Böttcher (born July 10, 1959 in Soltau ) is a German politician of the GREEN .

Life and work

After acquiring the technical college entrance qualification, Böttcher completed an apprenticeship as an electrical mechanic and later worked in this profession. He is married and has one child.

Political party

Böttcher joined the Pinneberg Green Alternative List in 1982 , through which he also became a member of the Greens . From 1983 to 1986 he was part-time district manager of the Pinneberg Greens. Since 2001 he has been the full-time state manager of the Schleswig-Holstein Greens.

MP

Böttcher was a member of the district council in the Pinneberg district from 1986 to 1996 . From 1986 to 1990 and 1994 to 1996 he was chairman of the Greens parliamentary group. The state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein , he was one of 4 June 1996, when he for Wilfried Voigt nachrückte until 2000. From April 22, 1998 to April 22, 1999 he was chairman of the parliamentary unification committee of the state parliament.
