Wilfried Voigt (politician)

Wilfried Voigt (born June 23, 1949 in Flintbek ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Voigt attended the Flintbek elementary and secondary school and the Wellingdorf grammar school , where he graduated from high school in 1969. He studied agricultural sciences at the University of Kiel and obtained his diploma. From 1975 to 1996 he was a career advisor for high school graduates and college students at the employment office in Kiel .

After membership in the KBW and activities in the anti-nuclear movement , Voigt became a member of the Greens in 1983, where he was a district board member in Kiel. From 1986 to 1996 he was a member of the council of the state capital Kiel and there for several years chairman of the Greens as well as deputy chairman of the parliamentary group. In 1996 he was elected to the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein , but resigned his mandate on June 4, 1996, as he was appointed Secretary of State for Energy in the Ministry of Finance and Energy, since 2003 in the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport. He held this office until 2005.
