Sanjar Fayziyev (born July 29, 1994 in Tashkent ) is an Uzbek tennis player .

Career

Fayziyev already played about 80 matches on the ITF Junior Tour and achieved his best placement there in 2010 with place 267.

Until 2013, he mainly played tournaments with the professionals in his home country and always failed early, so that this year he was placed in the tennis world rankings for the first time . He also managed to qualify for some main fields at Challengers , where he was always eliminated early. In 2015 he reached a final for a future for the first time and finished the year in singles and doubles within the top 500. In 2016 and 2017 he won two titles in the Future category. In July 2017, the Uzbek reached his highest single placement with rank 253. He also succeeded in doing this in 2018, even though he fell out of the top 400 in the ranking. To date, he has won four future titles in doubles and reached the double finals in Qarshi and Tashkent in 2018 , of which he was able to win the latter with Jo'rabek Karimov . A little later he reached his career high of 314th place.

Fayziyev has also been playing for the Uzbek Davis Cup team since 2014 , where he has so far been on a score of 1: 9.
