Alessio di Mauro (born August 9, 1977 in Syracuse ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

Alessio di Mauro began his career in 1998 and won a total of 14 tournaments on the ATP Challenger Tour , seven in singles and seven in doubles with changing partners. In singles he was able to reach the final on the World Tour once when he met Juan Mónaco in the final in Buenos Aires in 2007 . However, he was clearly defeated by 1: 6 and 2: 6. He achieved his highest placings in the world rankings with rank 68 in singles on February 26, 2007 and rank 136 in doubles on January 30, 2012.

In 2004 Alessio di Mauro played his only encounter for the Italian Davis Cup team . In the first round match against Georgia he was used in the first individual, which he won safely.
