Yves Allegro (born August 24, 1978 in Grône ) is a former Swiss tennis player .

Career

From 1997 Allegro took part in the ATP professional tournaments . He celebrated his greatest successes as a double player with three titles and another seven finals. In June 2003 he won the ATP tournament in Vienna together with Roger Federer . In January 2005 he won the title in Auckland together with the German Michael Kohlmann , in the same year he won the lawn tournament in Halle with Federer . In August 2004 Allegro took part in the double tournament of the Olympic Games in Athens together with Federer . The two were eliminated in the second round.

Allegro won $ 768,327 in prize money. He achieved his best placings in the world rankings in the double ranking in October 2004 with 32nd place and in the singles in June 2003 with 210th place. The right-hander was trained by Ivo Werner. Allegro was also a member of the Swiss Davis Cup team for several years . In 2011 he ended his career.

Allegro has been the head coach at Swiss Tennis since 2015 .
