The Open 13 2008 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 11th to 17th, 2008 in Marseille . It was part of the ATP Tour 2008 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the International Tennis Championships in Delray Beach and the Brasil Open in Costa do Sauípe were played. Like the Open 13, both belonged to the International Series category .

Gilles Simon was the defending champion in the singles. He was eliminated in the quarterfinals this year. In the final, Andy Murray, seeded four, won in two sets 6: 3 and 6: 4 against the wild card starter Mario Ančić . Arnaud Clément and Michaël Llodra were successful in doubles last year. This year they withdrew their participation in doubles and only competed in singles. In the final, Martin Damm and Pavel Vízner prevailed against Yves Allegro and Jeff Coetzee in two sets with 7: 6 0 and 7: 5.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 513,000 euros, the total financial liabilities were 534,000 euros.

The qualification took place from February 9th to 11th, 2008. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
