The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2008 was a tennis tournament that took place in Rotterdam from February 18 to 24, 2008 . It was part of the ATP Tour 2008 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the SAP Open were played in San José and the Copa Telmex in Buenos Aires . In contrast to the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, which belonged to the International Series Gold category, these were part of the lower endowed International Series .

Defending champion in the singles was Mikhail Juschny , who was eliminated in the first round this year. In the final, the unseeded Frenchman Michaël Llodra prevailed against Robin Söderling in three sets with 6: 7 3 , 6: 3 and 7: 6 4 . All eight seeded players were eliminated from the individual in the round of 16 at the latest. Martin Damm and Leander Paes won the doubles title last year. Only Damm started again and failed in the first round. Tomáš Berdych and Dmitri Tursunow prevailed in the final against the duo Philipp Kohlschreiber and Michail Juschny with 7: 5, 3: 6 and [10: 7].

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 803,000 euros, the total financial liabilities were 824,000 euros.

The qualification took place from February 16-17, 2008. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
