The 2008 Tennis Channel Open was a tennis tournament that took place March 3-9, 2008 in Las Vegas . It was part of the ATP Tour 2008 and was played outdoors on hard courts. In the same week, the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships were held in Dubai , which, unlike the Tennis Channel Open, which is part of the International Series , was part of the International Series Gold .

Defending champion in the singles was Lleyton Hewitt , who failed in the second round to Julien Benneteau . The winner was the American Sam Querrey , who celebrated his first tournament victory with a three-set win (4: 6, 6: 3, 6: 4) over the South African Kevin Anderson . In doubles, the brothers Mike and Bob Bryan were the defending champions. They reached the final again, but had to admit defeat to the duo Julien Benneteau and Michaël Llodra 6: 4, 4: 6 and [10: 8]. For Benneteau it was the third double title in his career and for Llodra it was his 14th title on the ATP World Tour .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize pool was $ 411,000 and total financial liabilities were $ 436,000.
